Information you give us directly. When you sign up for weekly opportunities or download a free resource (like the Crew Wealth Playbook), we collect your email address. We don’t require a name, profile, or login to use the Site — that’s intentional.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically receive some technical information when you visit — your browser type, approximate location (from IP address), and which pages you viewed. We use this only in aggregate, to understand how the Site is used.
Cookies. We use a small number of functional cookies. If you’ve subscribed through one of our signup forms, a cookie remembers that for up to a year so you’re not asked again. We don’t use cookies to track you across other websites, and we don’t sell or share cookie data with advertisers.
How We Use Your Information
We use your email address to:

- Send occasional updates about CrewAssets (new resources, features, etc.)

Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to run the Site:
- Mailchimp — manages our email list and sends our emails. Mailchimp has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data, available at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.
- Hosting provider — our hosting company processes standard technical data (like IP addresses) as part of delivering the Site to your browser.
We do not control these third parties’ own privacy practices beyond our agreements with them, and encourage you to review their policies directly.
External Links
The Site links to job listings and articles hosted on other platforms (such as Yotspot, Dockwalk, and others). Once you click through to one of these external sites, their privacy policy applies, not ours. We aren’t responsible for the privacy practices of sites we link to.
Your Choices
- Unsubscribing: every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes you from our list immediately.
- Access or deletion: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected].
- Cookies: most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so may mean you’re asked to subscribe again on future visits.
International Visitors
CrewAssets is operated from the United States, and information you provide is processed and stored in the United States. If you’re visiting from outside the U.S., you’re consenting to your information being transferred to and processed in the United States.
